Thank you Debbie for taking the time to help us all have a place that we can share our memories of Grandma! Grandma always had a way of making us laugh or smile from "her" chair. She loved to sit in the middle of the room and watch and listen to everyone, especially her Grandkids! Do you remember sitting in her chair, hoping to get to sit there for a minute before she came back to sit down. How many cookies did you steal from the cookie jar? Popcicles? What do you remember? How many songs did you share with Grandma, Primary talks, dances? What stories do you remember her sharing with you? We would love to hear your comments! Love, AUNT Lisa:)

It has been a couple of months since I have posted. Mariann having a few complications and missing 46 days of school! Today I am in Pocatello, Idaho with my family planning our dear mother's funeral. I need to share my love for her!
Mom, you are amazing! In your 80 years you have done so many amazing things. You were a loving wife for 61 years. The mother of 10 children. I can't imagine how many loads of wash you must of done, by hand! Dirty diapers that you changed, that were not disposable. Just thinking of all the inventions that you have used to help with your chores.
Most importantly, you shared your testimony with me daily. You taught me to "Make new friends and keep the old. One is silver and the other is gold."
You taught me to LOVE EVERYONE! Never burn bridges. You taught me to have proper manners at the table. I might need to work at that one since moving out of the house. But most of all to follow the example of our Savior, Jesus Christ. May I strive to follow to keep His commandments as you have.
I want you to know how much I love and respect you! Thank you for having just "one" more. You will be missed! I am so grateful to KNOW that we will see you again in the Eternities! I love you!

Grandma loved all of us. She did not think of me as one of her many grandkids. She thought of me as Bret. I loved to bring my freinds over. When I brought anyone over they were interested in my life and my freind's life. My mother {Nancy}, has a rare quality. She loves everyone she meets. When I think of grandma a realize where she gets this rare gift. I must admit I did my fair share of sneaking ice cream bars out of the deep freezer. I am also sorry to say I did take more then one oreo out of the cookie jar. The amount of cookies I would take depended on how big of pockets you had! Grandma was patient and loving, even with the naughty grandkids!! I love her for her example and for how she treated all of us. She is now free from sickness and pain. Her life has been a great success, I am just so happy for her.

    From Derek Crockett
I can honestly say that Grandma Anderson has always been a hero of mine. It is because of her that I want to have a large family of my own. I have seen two many people get old without allot of family or friends to spend those retirement years with. With Grandma Anderson it was just the opposite. Rarely could you just stop by to see grandmas without running into some other relative or friend. We all loved to gather at Grandmas house because we all knew it was a place we were all loved. I think every one of us grandkids made more memories in our childhood years in the hills behind grandma's house than any other place. I will never forget the treasure hunts, walking to the KOA, swinging on the rope behind the house, opening fresh peas at family reunions, and riding the horses around Anderson Lane. But most of all I will never forget coming back from our great adventures and always finding Grandma in her favorite blue chair waiting to hear about our most recent adventures. I think the huge smile and obvious excitement she showed when we walked back into the room gave away every time how much Grandma really loved each one of us. Thank you Grandma, for making your home so welcome to each one of us and our friends.
I remember thinking when I was younger how sad of a day it would be when our Grandma left this earth. After hearing the news about Grandmas death I was surprised at how at peace I was. Today I am grateful for a Grandma that I was able to know and be close to for 35 years, and that she took the time to become more than a grandma but a friend I will always remember. Thank You for being an example in the Gospel so that when this time did come we could all share these memories with peace in our hearts knowing that we will see you again, and that you are in a happier place.
    I will always Love You
    Derek
